About me

I love to travel- to meet exciting people, eat amazing food, and to soak up the flavor of other countries and cultures. First and foremost I am a New Yorker- my heart will always belong in NYC, but then there is the rest of the world to explore. When not travelling, I am eating and playing in NYC, exploring every option it has to offer. Although, I do feel the most satisfied when travelling. I am a teacher in the Montessori Philosophy, which allows me to teach anywhere in the world, so it is a great profession for me at the moment.

My Travel Tip

Travel alone. You meet amazing people.. Also, while a tight itinerary is mandatory, be spontaneous and allow yourself to wander off the beaten path- these memories will probably turn out to be your favorite of the trip.

Hey! If you'll be in brussels when in belgium, you must get a pic of these little statues named Mennecke Pi's & Jennecke Pi's, If I remember correctly. There's a cute story behind it, ask any local folk and they'll tell you. As for amsterdam, I had no idea how many awesome museums were located there! Definitely check out Anne's Frank's house, it's just intense to stand in this little house with soo much history and her diaries are on display, it gave me chills! Might not be for everyone. Then of course there is the obvious which has made amsterdam soo popular, coffee houses, the ones on the canal are cool. Oh and if you like diamonds there's a Coster's diamond manafacturing plant where you can get huge discounts. France is just my fav place to be, especially the small townes. Visit one if you get a chance. I spent some time in Annecy last year. It's about southeast of france and surrounded by the french alps, with loads of outdoorsy stuff to do. I was there in the summer and had a ball. You really should visit Chamonix, Mont Blanc and get on the Tram, it's breathtaking. Well I can write on forever but I will stop here. Have fun, good luck!

Hi!
I'm starting my travel experience, and going solo, do you have any suggestions for me? Also, how do you book your international flights? I'm planning a trip to Brazil, and everywhere I look is SUPER expensive.
Thanks!
