Daytrip from Tokio, if you intersted in Temples go to Nikko there are the most colourful temples you can see in Japan I think.
Also if the weather is fine and you have time go to the lake with the waterfall you can also hike a little bit.
Other daytripsoutside Tokyo I don´t know cause I was only 3 days there.
But next year I´ll come back to Japan again and then I will stay for a whole week in the city.
So moreif you need more info´s about Tokyo ask me I will help as much I can.
