sorry I made a mistake. I thought you have been to Vietnam. You ask me about Saigon. I remember me that a trip through the city with a riksha was very nice. But don't forget to bargain before you take a transportation. If you take a train to go outside saigon it could be that you have to pay a different price as a tourist. In the ninetys the trainprices for tourists were about three times higher than for vietnamese. Do you plan to go to other cities in Vietnam? If you have further questions let me know. No, I haven't been in Philippines yet! When I came to NYC first people I become friends were Flips :) and we are still best buddies going 17 years. So, yes after attending gazillion home Philippino home parties which include a lot of drinking and singing songs with their fathers I feel like I was there already.
