No, I didn't stay in HI Hostel in Boston. But there was heavy snowing when I was there and my booked Greyhound journey going to New York was cancelled, I needed to stay in the bus station overnight!

One good backpacker... Woodstock Hostel in Paris !! Great place ! Just near Montmartre, in a quiet and safe area, in center of Paris. Few minutes by foot or bus of Galleries Lafayette and Louvres ! So good !!
Have a good trip in Europe !! Take care ! & Enjoy

You should to Belgium too, Brugge, Ghent and Leuven are worth visiting.

Only two days? That is a shame.

To see tulips, you could make a day trip to Keukenhof like I did. Go by train from Amsterdam Centraal to Leiden and right next to the Leiden train station, they have direct buses to the gardens!

I think Kinderdijk is the best place to see windmills but I went to Volendam to see the windmill there.

I hope some of these tips helped you, Holland is a wonderful country to visit. ^^

You will find there's more culture in Europe than America - even though Boston is more European than other cities in US.

I know amsterdam, you will enjoy it for sure. if you wanna travel to south and reach spain, i have a nice appartment in the north coast, near bilbao, waiting for you. tell me if you wanna know the best part of europe. :)
