I saw you're heading to Montreal...I was there this past Halloween. I would definitely hit up Old Montreal which is along the water. Lots of little shops and restaurants (though at point gets to be repetetive) One spot we went to the last day we were there was considered the Village. Which is more of the gay community, a little slummy areas, but tons of fun too.

Hi there, Greece is really an amazing place!! The islands are in my opinion by far the most beautiful and the locals the most friendly.
Santorini is my fav for sure!!
I love the history that Athens and Rhodes have to offer but mykonos, santorini and crete are the real greek island experience.
I have also been to Croatia last year which is just as beautiful as greece but not as touristy yet...i would def reccommend visiting there too.
My advice re getting to your dream destination is to save as hard as possible as its by far worth it!!

Hey Nancy, Well NY can be overwhelming. It has soo much to offer it's hard to know where to start. But here are some little tidbits. I recently found out that there's a piece of the Berling Wall right here in midtown manhattan!!! I was soo excited. Definitely a must see. It's on 55th st. between 5th ave and madison. One of my favorite cheap thrills.... a ride on the tram way that goes to Roosevelt Island, all you need is a metro card. If you plan to do the museums, go online and get tics in advance this should cut out on long waits to get in. Oh I believe MOMA is free fridays after 4pm. Then at night, basically anything goes. All you need to know is, if you want laid back lounge atmosphere head downtown below 14th st. The meat packing district for great trendy restaurants and uptown for more yuppie types. Hope you have a memorable time!

I can assure you that in Athens there many things to see and do! There are archeological sites, museums, coast and great, great nightlife. Now with the metro is easy to move around and there are always people on the streets, even very late at night. You can combine a visit to Athens with a visit to the islands or Peloponnese, especially in summer so as to enjoy the wonderful beaches. I 'm sure you donna love a visit in Athens!

the budget is important, but it also help to book in advance, like a few months before. Also if you can find a group that is going , maybe trough the internet, its easier because you get group discounts. take care, and have fun

Well, of course I do have a lot of suggestions for you to visit here in Brazil. We´re a great place to visit, but also a huge country. Let me know what do you like (big cities, beaches and so on) and I can give you more especific tips... anyway, I would say that you cannot miss Ilha Grande, RJ... they have great beaches over there, and I really love that place!

Hi Nancy. I Think that the only things I can tell you are: travel light, you never use everything you pack. Actually, make your bag, and after you make it, take half of it out. You will buy stuff, and you will need space to put it, unless you want to come back with a lot of luggage. The second thing, remain open. magic things happen when we are open to live the experiences. and the third, No matter how bad it could look a situation, dont let it spoil your trip. Try to turn it in to something positive, and you will have the best time of your life every say of your trip.

Hey, yeah I stayed in hostels in London and in Paris...the London hostel was called the Ace Hotel (Kensington) it was really pretty nice, i stayed in a double private room...the one's in Paris were really bad actually so I wouldn't suggest them to anyone. Good luck with your travels!!!
