Hi
well, we'll be there (in Barcelona) for about six days in September... looking forward to it! :) Maybe we'll also try a short "excursion" to Madrid...
Bye :)

Hi Yvonne,

Sorry for my late reply, i was travelling and so i didn't read my message until i was back home. Some places that you can't miss in barcelona include the "Park Güell" and "Sagrada Familia", the Gothic quarter is also very nice to take a walk with no destination...just for the sake of walking! don't miss the square of Sant Felip Neri., next to the cathedral ... and if you are thirsty...then head to my favourite bar "El Drapaire" which is in De les Sitges Street... small backstreet parallel to Les Rambles, not far from Catalunya square. Any other info you may need, don't hesitate in asking me. Good luck!

I just read your message, but you don't need suggestions about Italy anymore!
Did you enjoy your trip?

I generally was a bit disappointed with Italy. It was a bit dirty and broken down. I did love Florance but the rest was really not What I expected. The art in Florance is great and make sure to cue up early to see the Statue of David. if you cross the old bridge you can walk up the hill and get a great view of the city. The guy at the place where I stayed was great and he ha loads of tips and places to see if you would like to go and see him for some help. Every thing is really expensive and never ask for EXTRA large because It tends to be massive. I stayed at the coast in Rome and travel into the city. Its cheaper and cleaner. Milan is probably one of the worst places I have ever been. If you have time take a trip from there into the Alps. Livigno is Brilliant and on the way there you will find allot of big lakes in the mountains. I always go skiing in that area.

Any more questions please feel free to ask me. I am back home at the moment and mite take some time to answer.

Ciao

hi, barcelona is really nice city - in general we just did the open top bus tour which was really nice, and you can hop on hop off whenever you like. Good to go to the football grounds if you are interested, also just walk around the city cos the architecture is amazing. Have a look at the barcelona PDF guide on hostelworld - some tips on that - enjoy it!
