Hi Ricardo, I'd love to give you some tips. It's been 10-15 years since my lats visit in Oslo, but I can tell you have to at least visit the main parade street, which I believe is called Karl Johann. In Copenhagen there are so many things to do to make it difficult where to start. Since I see yo're living at Danhostel, I would recommend talking an unusual path, walking over the bridge, the down the first stairs to the right so you can go under the bridge and either into the park/lakes or by the modern buildings following the canal (if you like nature go right and the into the park, if you like architecture follow the canal). I would love to guide you for some more places, like I have some other guys coming to Copenhagen, but I moved to London today...

yes. i think it is better to go by boat to flam in the morning and come back by train in the afternoon. Otherwise you ll have to leave Flam quite early as the boat leaves Flam early.

u dont need to book the boat in advance, just the trains. if u booked the train, just book your one way boat ticket to Flam. the price is around 680NOK.

hi Ricardo, sorry I only just got around to reading my emails and I saw your message.
I don't know where to start with tips really. Basically I booked my hostels through Hostelworld about a week in advance and was pretty lucky, and I also used vandrerhjem.no for Norway. Although I've heard in March that some hostels aren't open so you have to phone ahead just in case.
You have to go through southern Norway, it's beautiful. The Oslo to Bergen train was fantastic, and you definitely have to go to Flam and up to Geiranger fjord. Trondheim was a really nice city also, and Tromso was worth the trip.
When I was in Copenhagen I went to the Viking Museum in Roskilde about 15 minutes by train and that was great, although the Viking Ship Museum in Oslo was even better. The Kronborg Castle in Helsingor just outside Copenhagen was nice, but don't go out of your way unless you have the time to do it. The trains don't cost much money though and it's a nice trip. For a nice day trip you could go by train to Odense and visit Hans Christian Andersen's museum and the surrounding village.
Also, in Oslo you should buy the Oslo Pass from the visitors centre to save money on museums.
Ok, that's all I can think of right now. Have fun!

hhmm i think that's a bit too far from the port and train station but there should be buses. why don't you stay at dorm.no? it is very central, 3 mins from the station and the port.

I didnt take the package boat+train. What i did is booked the boat to Fla and then went to the Bergen train station to book the return ticket from Fla to Bergen. the boat leaves at around 9am every day. arrives at Fla around 1.30. then you can explore Fla area (you can rent a bicycle - they have maps for cycle and walking trips around the small village.) The last train to Bergen is at 19.45 so you have plenty of time. The package tour leaves at around 16.30. I chose to do it indepentently so that i have more time. what i strongly suggest you is to prebook your train tickets. if you prebook them online u ll get them for either 199NOR or 299NOR. the actual prices if you buy them at the train station can be as much as 1499NOR (to oslo).www.nsb.no is the website.
Where are you going to stay in Bergen?

Hi! Oslo is very expensive and doesn't offer a real night life, one beer is about 9 euro and i have not found a disco but only pub, obviously norway is very very cold, but i suggest you to visit drobka (by bus) and lillehammer (by train), two little towns, the first is the santa claus town and the latter is a mountain village very amazing. Both are near to oslo. Copenaghen is more vital than oslo and there are more monuments. See christiania, an ancient quarter of copenaghen. 5 years ago was very amazing. The girls in denmark are more beautiful than in norway... ;) Let's trust!!!
Have fun!!!!
