Ciao Sara,
I wrote you a message this morning, but I don't see it here in your list of messages quindi penso non ti sia arrivato: so I'll write it again! I hope I'll remember everything I wrote...
First of all, sorry for taking so long in answering your last message: I've been having a busy time between job, dentist (ahi!), esame di stato (in november I have to sit l'esame di stato per diventare architetto...speriamo bene), etc etc...so I haven't been writing to anyone really.
You say you would've loved to have parents who travel: well, I mean, yes it's nice...you get to see great places like London...but sometimes it can get tiring: for example, going to London when I was 12 years old, very insecure, and being dropped in an english-speaking school, when I spoke absolutely no English (beh, quello che si impara alle medie...cioè nulla!) was a bit traumatizzante...I survived, but it was tough at the beginning: I felt very lonely and missed my friends here in Milan a lot.
You ask me what I love best about London: well, probably the people: they're just so absolutely nice...shame about the english weather: I really hate it, mi viene la depressione con tutta quella pioggia! tra l'altro mi fa diventare i capelli tutti frizzati...e lo odio!!!
But tell me what is it that you love so much about London: you seem fascinated by it!
And tell me also about your job in the fashion company: what is it that you do? As I wrote in my profile, I work as an architectural assistant in uno studio di architettura here in Milan (zona Ripamonti-Porta Romana), at the moment I'm here but, being friday afternoon at 17.12, I just want to get out!
hope to hear from you!
Natalia
