About me

I'm the type of guy who loves to travel and I'm planning on doing as much of it as possible whilst I'm still young and with little commitments. Has anyone been some place special which there'd like to recommend? Feel free to drop me a line!

Hi Scott, how are you? The special places I'd recommend to you are Venice and Florence, Italy, Nice, Paris, Strasbourg, Dijon and Avignon, France, Brussels, Belgium, Cracow and Warsaw, Poland, Oslo, Norway and Granada, Spain. All of these cities are just gorgous, full of history, character and just fun to be in (well for me anyways!) I also highly recommend Williamsburg, Virginia in the United States, Washington, DC and Boston, MA and Miami, FL and Myrtle Beach, SC. All great destinations as well. Happy future travels and take care!

Frankfurt, Germany I've been to. That's always where I'd fly to and from when I lived in Germany. I used to live in Heidelberg.

Rome I've been to as well. That's a city I can say I've done once and liked it.

NJ is ok. Depends on what you want to do. But spring and summer time is best. Of course NJ doesnt have quite as much as NYC so if in Jersey, def take a trip over to the Big Apple at least once.

Hi, the most interesting cities (that can be compared to London) are Cracow and Warsaw. There is Wawel Cathedral in Cracow that reminds me of Westmister Abbey - both are the burial place of the monarchs. I had a chance to be in Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Cracow. I liked it a lot. You won't get bored in this museum cause it's not a typical museum. In both cities (Warsaw and Cracow) you can find the Royal Castles, and there are many places to have fun in both cities. In person, I prefer Cracow to Warsaw. Maybe because Warsaw is crowded and is built in a "new" style, and I like to admire stylish old buildings. I can say that Cracow is the Heart of Poland. However, there may be peole who will disagree with me cause these cities compete a lot. Cracow is ex-capital, Warsaw is present capital. This competition can be even seen on a football pitch (Vistula Cracow vs. Legia Warsaw). Hope that you've at least heard about these football clubs. Happily, we'got many other cities worth visiting: Gdansk, Sopot, Szczecin (at the seaside), Zakopane (in the mountains). Hope to see ya in Poland ;)

Hi, I don't know if you already seen Edinburgh. Probably yes, if you live in London. I've just come back from there, and I hope to go back there. I do love this city.

Hello Scott! Montreal in summer is really nice!!!There's the downtown on ste-catherine and st-denis streets where the night life is really cool, during the day there's a lots of boutics and shopping center. Lots of tourists like to go on Crescent street. I suggest you to go on the Mont-Royal, is a little mountain in the middle of the city and EVERY sunday there's a gattering called tam-tam its nice, you can relax in the grass and listen the tamtam, it starts in the after noon. You also have the old port which there's a lots of activities to do.
There's a lots of festivals: the jazz festival in july, festival just for laugh, and francofolies, etc...
You also have the biodôme, botanic garden, olympic stadium, and la ronde which is a big attrations park... Well let me know if you want more specific tips!
Enjoy!
Véronique
