Hey! I have been in Madrid, Segovia, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, Granada, Malaga, my next plan is to go on north, Bilbao and La Coruna. It will be my 5th time in Spain. But in the summer is to hot for me. :)

Hola Siru! I`ve been in Barcelona last spring, love the city, too bad that there`s problem with water supply. And I think Valencia is also great city, especially Calatrava`s futurism architectural project. Love the museuma and theatre-like fish aquarium filled with fishes form red see, there were hundreds different sorts of them, just swimming around. Priceless! Visiting Dublin really made my friends want to move there (one of the is trying to convince the girlfriend and both try convincing me), and we almost formed a cult with a one word language (guess which word ;P). We had a great time there, and I can't wait to visit again :)

The castle rock hostel i stayed in should be good for the long term. The room i stayed in had 6 beds, they could of fit 10 easily in that room, so there is a lot of room to move around. Downstairs they have a large room with a billiards table, and also a quite room for reading, i don't remember seeing a TV there though, so if thats not a big thing for you then this should be a good place.

You are right under the castle, it is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Most stores are located at the train station, so if you want to shop there you need to walk a little bit.

Well, The BrÓg on oliver PLunkett St. is a nice pub also Reardens on Washington St is good, big and very popular on the weekends. If your looking for traditional music Sin É on Coburg St is the place. And Savoy is good Nightclub, very big. Want anymore info or a tour guide :) give me a shout.

thank u so much for the advice. i will probably go to barcelona then. i was thinking of booking a room for the night at the girona airport hotel even though i wanted to get to barcelona straight away. but now i can just go ahead. ill take a taxi from arc de triomf. the only thing i now have to worry about is whether the bus at girona airport will wait for us. we arrive at 23.50 and the bus leaves at 00.15. Ahhhhh travelling with my mum makes me too nervous to enjoy the planning part of the trip ::) thank u so much for the advice and have a wonderful week-end!!!! oh by the way, i have booked a place to stay but let me know the name of the place you recommend! would be good to know! take care!

Hi! I want to ask you something about Barcelona. Im going there with my mum :) for a week in june and arrive at 1.30 in the middle of the night, to Arc de Triomf, or rather the bus station there. I will live around Catalunya. What I wonder is whether it is safe to walk there at that time,when dragging bags and stuff around. Some have told me that La Ramblas can be a bit dangerous at night and so I have to ask since Im bringing my mum. I wouldnt have been worried if I was with myself but have to keep mum happy! :) Hope you have the inside to what it is like. I know its only a short way to walk but still.
