There are a lof of places for diving, the best temperature of the water is in the Caribean, I mean Quintana Roo, although it's so much touristic place, but the coast is really quiet and fantastic, also you can down to Belize where the diving lessons are cheaper than other countries.

The best way of getting from Sao Paulo to Rio is deffinetly by plane, but the chepeast is by bus, but it takes 7 hours...
