I work in an office in Denmark - but am considering moving to London :) Right now I'm creating websites for momondo.com (that's the way I first found hostelworld - I'm mostly working on design and programming for comparing hotels all over the world, and also some other things to give extra info on the places you want to visit - sorry for sounding like a commercial ;P) I love traveling so it's a great job for dreaming away to other places :)

I've been thinking about taking a week or so in Barcelona, and also traveling along the coast there, so maybe I'll see you in Valencia some day :)

Hi, Amsterdam is a great city to visit. I loved simply walking along the canals, relaxing at cafes and taking the hop-on-hop-off canal tours. If it's nice weather and you go with a canal tour I recommend getting off around where the tour turns for a bit about halfway through (don't remember if they called the stop Rijksmuseum or something else though). If you enjoy flowers there's the tulip market along one of the canals, but it's extremely crowded (at least from when I was there) so take the cafe shops.

In the end, it all depends on what you're interested in - I met some great people and found some great clubs on my visit, and you have to see the red light district when in Amsterdam as a tourist (I met an old couple at a cafe who asked me after the coffee if I wanted to join for a walk through there - we had a lot of fun)

Most important though, dont walk alone in dark alleys at night - I was robbed an hour after coming to the city by some drug dealers. So be careful and have a lot of fun :)
