About me
I’m off on a year-long trip around the Southern hemisphere, visiting as many wine producing areas as possible on my way.
The plan is to start in South Africa, flying into Johannesburg, then touring round the coast eventually ending up in Capetown to stay with my brother, and tour the Cape winelands.
Then in early October I’ll be heading off to Australia, arriving in Perth, then on to Margaret River, before flying to Adelaide and beginning the overland journey to Sydney by around Christmas, stopping along the way in places like Clare, Barossa, McLaren Vale and the rest!
In the New Year, the plan is to head over to New Zealand, where I hope to get some gainful employment in a winery for the 2008 vintage February ’til May or so…
Then it’s going to be a case of meandering my way back to Blighty through South America, visiting the wine growing regions of Chile and Argentina among other places.
