hey, Generator is okay... its good if you want to party but i found it was full of lots of young \'kids\'.... i stayed in 2 hostels whilst I was in Berlin (the other was Wombats)... I\'ve been travelling loads of times and probably stayed in 100+ hostels around the world and I 100% believe that Wombats is one of the best hostels I\'ve ever stayed in... its cleaner than generator, quieter at night, has a better bar, is in a better location (a short walk from Alexandraplatz, as apposed to a few tram stops) more secure (free keycard lockers)... its a tiny bit mpre expensive than generator and if you swapped your booking you\'ll probably lose your booking fee...but the slightly extra costs are worth it!!!

Hi Andrea, Old Prague hostel wasn\'t too bad. It has a good location. A little smokey in the general area. Staff was good, it was clean. You won\'t need to get on a tram at all, everything is walkable from there. Have fun!!

Hi Andrea, I found the Generator hostel fantastic. The location was brilliant, right next to the metro station, on the main circle lines. There was a tram that stopped around the corner to take you to alexanderplatz, and the best thing is I never brought a ticket! I probably shouldnt admit it, but its true! One huge tip for travelling in Germany, I dont know if you have heard of a website called Mitfahrgelegenheit. Its a carshare website, its 100% safe, I was travelling alone and did it lots of times. You have a look where you want to travel to and from (eg, Berlin to Dresden) on a certain date, and it tells you all the people who are driving that route on that day who have spare seats in their car, and it only cost about 5-10 each. Have fun travelling! Jason
