Carla, I\'m new to hosteling too...taking my first trip to Florence in Sept. I\'m an officer in the military and live in California...I saw your message to Colmh and wanted to see if it was California you\'re coming to? If so, my family and I live near Napa/San Francisco and would love to provide you any info you want. My husband was born in San Francisco...it is a fabulous city! Let me know.
