I'm a med student in Philly. I recently went to Greece (which was SO beautiful!) with the mom, but I haven't traveled much other than that. I'm doing my first Europe backpacking trip (Florence, Prague, & Paris) with my best friend this August, so any tips would be appreciated!!

Aloha. I was searching around looking for information on where to stay in Santorini. I\'ll be in Greece starting July 15th. Any recommendations about taking ferries, etc. will be appreciated. I read your question about where to stay in Paris. Try St. Christopher\'s Paris Hostel. My son goes to university in London and that\'s where he has stayed along with his friends a number of times. He said it was outstanding. They have a floor that is \'women only\'. Reviews are excellent. I\'ll be staying there for a week myself prior to flying to Greece. Best of luck. Lina

Hey Whitney�. Yes, certainly take care with the money issue in Prague�me and my partner ended up calling the police�but they were pretty useless as well�Unfortunatelly, Chezch Rep ranks high in corruption at the EU�still�Soviet legacy I suppose!! Unfortunatelly, every time I have been to Paris, I either stayed with a friend�or at a regular hotel..and not a Hotel�My only tip for the area�is to stay somewhere down town�Paris has �rings��like many European cities�the closer you are down town�the better it is�it can get dozzy anywhere�but the outskirts are rather famous for being more turbulent(see La Hane� the movie..)� I will actually be visiting the states in September�.and I might hustle you for some tips of when I ll visit NYC�I will be going to Washington DC and NY!! Enjoy everything�and I think..in 5 years time..i ll be back Home so I will be glad to be of any help� G

Well Duchess, You have picke a nice european trip.Tips : -careful very much when u r exchanging money in Chech Republic...In fact, do not change any money other than the bank!!Trust me..been there...other than that...Chech Rep is beautiful...and u can get your hands on anything... I have not been to Italy, but i have been to paris a few times...Certainly take advantage of the French rich culture(Museums especially!!)...go up Mont Martin...for a view of Paris...and have a late afternoon pic nic under the Eifel tower...too bad u did not make me your buddy previously...i could give you a lot of tips about my country that you recently vistied with your mom...p.s: i am glad u likes it..and a small tip of info..there is no Greece...my country is Hellas..not your fault...everyone knows it as Greece...but it is not..we are the Hellenic Republic!
