i stayed nearby the train station in paris (can u spot the trend here?) purely for the convinience. generally its the sort of \"u get for what u pay for \" accommodation anywhere in western europe. the rating standard in EU is somewhat dubious so dont go expecting a 4* acc at a 4* price.

hey mate, we put up in a 10 bed apt during my italy trip. depending on when ure planning to go, i\'d suggest staying close to the train station (centrale preferably) during the summer period. the heat will kill you while walking between sights. as for the winter period, its a much more pleasant walk so it shouldnt matter where u stay. hope that helps
