I planning to quit my job at the end of 2009, take my bag and go to places where i can meet people. Planning to do North and South Island of New Zealand. Anyone out there who plans to travel around the same time? Your helpful tips would be great.. Also planning to spend a week in Cairns after Christmas , stay there for the New Years, Anyone out there traveling to the same destination? hi elle! i stayed in the Melaleuca, dont know whether it was the one with the best value for money, but it good. Anyway, i didnt stay too long in Darwin as it was just my first step to Australia from Singapore, and there s not much to do. But do the Jumping Crocodile Tour if u get there, that was fun :-) Cheers
