Don't only go where the guide books tell you - there's a lot to see, and you shouldn't forget asking the people around the place you stay (the staff at the hotels usually have some great ideas for things you would usually miss)

About me

I'm a swedish guy working and living in Denmark - currently planning a few short trips to some of the major cities around Europe... I went to Amsterdam in October and Dublin in November for some great weekends, and am thinking about London, Barcelona and Milano for the spring...
