Just got your message. I was only mildly impressed with the Chicago hostel. The beds were comfortable. The public areas were pretty nice, but they had lots of young people (ages 10-14) running around, noisy, etc. Also, maybe I was in the wrong bathrooms, but they were horrible. Probably the worst showers I\'ve been in at any hostel. That being said, it wasn\'t a horrible deal. Also, the hostel is not located in the northern part of town. In fact, it is more towards the south side of downtown. Not a bad location at all, but not north. Hope that helps.

Ciao Mauro. L\'ostello si trova in un\'ottima posizione, proprio a 200 mt dalla metro linea blu, e s può comodamente raggiungere il centro città a piedi. La pulizia non è il massimo mai bagni sono (a differenza delle camere) comode e pulite. Buona fortuna per il tuo viaggio. Michele

The room I stayed in had 5 beds and there was an adjoining room with another 5. In the middle was the very clean bathroom and it was never too busy. I don\'t think all rooms are ensuite though so you should request that when booking. Cheers.

re: your questions about chicago hostel. Very safe & clean hostel located in greektown. The bathrooms are not separate for men/women unless you have a room full of men or women. In my room there were 6 beds, 2 of these were occupied by women. I know they have a dedicated mens and womens bathroom in the main building however.
