G\'day again, thanks for getting back to me. It\'s a shame you\'ll be away. Kite skiing is like Kite Surfing. Similar to Wind Surfing, except instead of a sail you use a soft kite, 6 or 8 feet across, attached by a harness, controlled by strings (like a stunt kite). it\'s possible to get up to 15 or even 20 feet in the air as you zoom along and kick of jumps on the snow. The drop back down is aided by the parachute like effect of the kite. It\'s a lot of fun and snow like water is pretty soft. It is extreme, but not deadly... Sort of... Jimekins abides...

G\'day Johanna, I\'m visiting the Twin Cites from March 11, for 6 days, staying at the Motel 6 in the middle of town. I\'ll be Kite Skiing and visiting a few Coen Brothers film locations (Fargo, etc...). I will be coming straight from lebowskifest in Chicago. If you want to catch up for a drink, or a few games of bowling, drop me a line. maybe you\'re into skiing or boarding and want to come out on the weekend on the frozen lakes. Or even just show me around your hometown, that would be great,,, I don\'t know anyone in Minnesota.
