Hi Jonathan really glad to hear you enjoyed old walls yer it is a great hostel, i think that they only do it as a sideline/hobby i dont think that its their main income, but admittedly i thought the same... its always quiet but we like that in a hostel as past the age of party party time lol William

Hi Jon, you will love Krakow its a great city plenty to see and do!!! the salt mines are great we went and enjoyed them amazing place, its a hefty walk but i am not the fittest so it was easily managable, its a damp heat and its quite warm down there.. we found that we got more detail in our pics by taking the flash off, give it a go for a couple and see but it may have just been our camera...there are some really nice pubs Awaria bar along from the main square is a friendly place there is also a wee bar across from the us and german consul which is off the small square in to the right, local brewery..old walls is a really good hostel we have stayed there about 4 times there is a small cafe called bar snax or smax onthe riight hand side heading to the main square great price and amazing soup or the set menu its cheap as chips also on the corner at the end of the street where the tram lines meet is a bar called c k browar its downstairs its a huge beer hall the food is reasonable and very filling...i may pick your brains re prague as i think after budapest this will be my next trip. enjoy your trip Will
