Have you been to Greece? If so, send some good traveling info. Personal note: I took my Dad to France and Italy last year and now my Mom is jealous. She wants to go to Greece by way of Venice. Russell

FYI, My Lonely Planet guide said if you go to the Middle East as a women alone, have a picture of of a child and a man in your stuff and maybe wear a fake wedding band to discourage any harrasment. Also dark glasses so as not catch stares. On your passport you can get a separate paper stamped in Israel so as not to goof up any future travel plans. The writers were very critical of the U.S. State Dept. They say many places are safe, just be aware of whats going on.

I heard that if you got an Israeli stamp on your passport you could not travel in Saudi Arabia and other middle eastern countries. I watched another movie and they went south to the Dead Sea. Did you go there? Russell

Sorry for my delayed reply. I work for a Country Club in Jackson. I stay way to busy. When you make plans to go to Israel, how do you fly. Where do you go after you hit the ground? Do you not go out after a certain time in the evening? Lots of questions I know, but I watched a movie about Petra last night. Have you been there? It\'s in Jordan. Happy Valentines Day

Thanks for the quick reply. I read the BBC web everyday. I won\'t go with a group. I\'ve never stayed in a hostel. Are they all party houses? I saw the movie \"The Kingdom\" over the holidays and can\'t get enough of the Middle East. I hope to go soon. When will you go back?
