Hi Lyn, China was great! Beautiful nature, kind people though just a few speak English and our Chinese is rather poor. We have been staying at beautiful hostels with all kinds of atmospheres. We made three trips by nighttrains, very relaxing and a good sleep.

Hi Lyn, Nice to read more people of our age prefer B&B and/or hostels. We always enjoy our stay in hostels rather than the big hotels. Look forward to being your buddy. Have you been to China already?
