We went with Easy Rider Wine Tours: http://www.winetour.co.za/ - exceptional value for money, especially since when buying it in combination with booking accomodation directly with Banghoek Place (also good value for money): http://www.hostelworld.com/availability.php/Banghoek-Place/Stellenbosch/16904 we got a discount both on the tour and the hostel. The combination couldn\'t be booked through Hostelworld.

From Simon\'s Town you can definitely hike around at the south tip, some people also hiked up and down Table Mountain, which is a great experience. Just beware that it can be scorching sun with almost 50C in the sun at one time, fifteen minutes later you have milky fog and/or a very strong gale...

Montagu and Mossel Bay are other \"Feelgood Places\" with not much to see but very nice just to be. Like Key West in Florida. We took a very nice Wine Tour in Stellenbosch, for a good price. I can get you the name if you\'re interested.

Simon\'s Town is reached by commuter train from Cape Town. Very nice \"Feel\" of the place, some penguins (though much better to see them and the Dassies at Betty\'s Bay) and a good base for going south by car/cycle.

Hi! Cape Town was really nice, as was the surroundings. We flew with Turkish Airlines, nice planes for a good price. Hostels varied in quality, but some were really good - like Big Blue. Great places are Stellenbosch, Ooudtshorn, Betty\'s Bay, Simon\'s Town... I will write you more info in more messages.
