Travel tip

Don't freaking sew a Canadian flag on your backpack... unless you really are Canadian.

About me

I'm a Norwegian/Austrian gal with a French/German name, but raised in the US (North Carolina's best beach town). I'll speak to you in French, English, or German, and pathetic amounts of Spanish and Bulgarian if you want. I'm in Strasbourg, France this year, teaching English and studying international business and pre-law... global commerce/trade ethics- you know, just doing my best to have a darned good time while making very little money. Haha. I usually travel solo, and I'm always down for meeting up and going out with interesting people. I'm a pole-vaulting, mountain-climbing, sky-diving thrill seeker, but the daughter of artists and an intellectual junkie as well. Museums, underground art, snowboarding, canyoning, you name it- I'll do it. Hit me up and we'll chat, and who knows- maybe cross paths someday!

Whoa, coincidences abound. First of all, I\'m in Jordan right now practicing MY Arabic as well, although Moroccan Arabic is far different than that of the Middle East. I\'m actually really jealous that you\'re going to Cairo. All I can manage is a possible trip to Sharm El Sheikh on the Sinai, but it\'s a hell of a lot better than any beach town in Texas. This summer I\'m abroad for 3 months... 2 weeks visiting family and relaxing in Jordan, 2 weeks backpacking Spain and Portugal, and 6 weeks studying law at Oxford with my school\'s (SMU in Dallas) program there. I\'ll be taking a course on the EU Constitution (studied EU politics in undergrad) and another on International Business Transactions. And yes, I know all about traveling under the pretext of \"studying\"; I somehow managed to talk my parents into letting me \"study\" Spanish in Barcelona for 4 months after I graduated college after \"studying\" in Germany/Paris/Brussels the year before. When will you be in London? Have any awesome trips planned other than London/Paris/Cairo?

Strasbourg was amazing, wish I could have spent more time there. I assume you want to study international law? And any recommendations for Budapest or Madrid?
