Travel tip

im from Argentina... so if you are travelling there and need to know something... let me know! My advice: if you are travelling with things like laptops, cameras and expensive stuff... take them in your hand bag while travellig by plane... NOT IN YOUR LUG

Dear Silvina, I love getting your emails. they are soooooo... Kind. The email addreess for family hostel in Mendoza did not print. The price seems great and you stayed there , so I trust. i am still checking websites for tours to Iquasu. Now I am thinking we should book our independent flight and hostel and do it ourselves... cheaper and more fun to learn. We managed in Peru independently 1 month and I heard it is easier in Argentina[Is that true?] We arrive BA after a cruise so I think it is only one port for cruise ships. We leave Toronto 14th Mar Cruise is 14 days So soon I will have to go with what info I have . You are so friendly. Would you to be my travel buddy? :] Cruise offersa tour in Puerto Madyrn U$D 199 ...8hrs to see natural patagonia. penguin reserve, sea elephants and lunch of patagonian lamb Very expensive.Think i will choose ..Punto Tombo penguU$D 119. 7&1/2Hrs. What you think/ You are helpful muchas Abrazas

Dear Silvina, Thanks again for you kind help. I am looking forward to enjoy South America and especially BA. My first interest in Argentina is to see Iquasu falls. We booked a Hostel in city centre www.portaldelsurba.com I got a quote for trip to Iquasu 3 days $457 USDpp I plan to make the trip from BA. cruise finishes 30th and I have 31st & 1st to check travel agency there. Think on line it maybe more expensive. We plan to leave BA by bus to Mendoza so we can enjoy the scene. Not sure if the buses run every day and frequently to Mendoza Plan to spend 2 nights there 5th/6th before trvelling by bus to Santiago 1 night here. for our flight home 8th. Do you know hostel there? At present Silvina, we have to coordinate the bus schedule, hope it can be easy on location. in BA If I can get bus schedules on line that will help What do you think is amoderate price with hotel 3* and air to Iquasu? If you know of travel agent for this I will be happy. Also wish to do a short tour of Tigre delta. Sorry if I cause you inconvenience. I think we learn by asking/ do you agree/[smile] Thanks. Darlene p.S In Nov 2005, my husband & I trvelled independently to Peru for 1 mth.!! It was challenging but memorable[We are 62& 68]
