Well, to tell you the truth I\'ve never been to Rome yet, so I don\'t think I could tell you much more about it than what you\'d already find inside a tourist guide! Anyway, I strongly advise you to avoid travelling by taxi, especially if you\'re on you\'re own, \'cause they\'re really expensive and taxi-drivers are not always that honest! Prefer the public transport, if you can: to save some money (but public transport in Italy is very cheap compared to London and many other European cities), you can buy day- and week-tickets. Don\'t forget to check for nightly timetables and night-buses, \'cause the underground seldom works at nightime. For the rest, enjoy your visit, eat as much as you can (\"bucatini all\'amatriciana\" is one of the most common pasta-dishes in Rome) and drink even more!:-D
