Use the smallest backpack you can! i could hardly carry mine it was so big! a little torch is handy too for when you're camping and stayin in dorm rooms.

About me

I'm from Ireland, am 28 and love travelling. Favourite place was South America, only saw a small part of it about 2 years ago. Went to Peru, Buenos Aires, Brazil but want to go to Bolivia, South of Argentina and Ecuador. Also like London, Edinburgh, Barcelona and other European cities that are near Ireland, and are good for long weekends.

Hey, was just looking at your map and seen you\'ve been to South America...I\'m going in a week to Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and Brazil...got nothing planned just going to backpack round..so I was just wondering if you could recommended what to do and see out there? Thanks!

Ecuador would be an interesting place to go. You will have the high mountains, the coast, along with the Galopogas Islands, and the tropical rainforest with theAmason River or its tributaries. Cosmicstudent.
