Byron bay is nice but full of crackhead people. It smells like weed everywhere. It was raining during the 3 days I was there. I loved the walk to the lighthouse even if it is long to go. I love the market too.

    Excellent

Great place if you've got money or have a tight budget, if you want to get up to all sorts of shenanigans or nothing much. Either way there's plenty to take in and everyone has a great, laid-back attitude. Pot often helps this. Be sure to check out Nimbin, too, there are good day tours there.

Insider Tip:Get vouchers for drinks and food at Cheeky Monkey's, they pretty much give those things away.

Probably one of if not the best beach I have ever been on... with that being said be prepared for the sun, I got the worst sun burn of my life ;)...lots to do from hanggliding to scuba diving, never a dull moment.

    Byron Bay

Byron Bay is a fantastic town. Definitely one of my favourite places in Australia. I've visited in both summer and winter months and Byron never loses its charm. However, being able to lie on its beautiful beach is definitely a plus (so visit in summer). Shopping is really good though - kind of pricey though.

Insider Tip:The Thai restaurant right off the main strip near the beach is SO delicious and cheap. I can't remember its name though - sorry!

    Byron Bay is awesome!

Byron is so amazing! It has its own culture, gorgeous beach with huge waves. Everything is locally produced, no shitty mcdonalds like everywhere else! Its just awesome, such a nice atmosphere!
