    Cologne was a decent time

I spent three days in Cologne. The first night I spent it on a strip of bars and restaurants that was filled with "college" kids. It reminded me of my college years for sure lol. On two separate days I walked to the cathedral and it truly is breathtaking. I actually attended a church service on the Sunday that I was there. Im not religious but it gave me goosebumps (the good kind). Kolsch beer is very interesting and you will find no shortage of it around the city.

Insider Tip:I took a "cologne free walk" and discovered hidden gems all around the city. This is a must. If I ever go back to Cologne it will be during "Carnival" because with three days I feel that I pretty much saw everything there is to see.

    Cologne

We went there for one day, and that was just enough. The romisch-germanisches museum, chocolate museum, and the cathedral were cool. We got to see a concert in the cathedral, and that was awesome.

Insider Tip:Organ concerts on Tuesday nights

    Cologne (Köln)

I was only here for one day, just passing through, but I did walk around the city a bit. It was very nice and pretty (and green!) and the people seemed very friendly. I also went to the Kölnisch Museum where the docent gave me a free tour because she wasn't very busy that day, so that was fun :)

    Nice

i was visiting cologne at easter so it was really busy. Nice and lively city as well as great public transport. 1 euro for a pint of beer. It was totally a good place to drink.

Insider Tip:Try the local's food i.e bratwurst, currywurst as well as the pretzel nougat. Cheap and nice..

    Awesome city

There are bus and metro services, the city centre is huge and you can find different atmospheres. The views from the bridges and cathedral tower are amazing. You can get local food for a reasonable price. I found an excellent free tour very interesting (in English), you can walk for hours and hours, there are parks at both sides of the river. The "crane buildings" area is nice. Plenty of shopping areas for buying anything and museums to go. You'll find interesting architecture.

Insider Tip:Go to both sides of the river. For partying go to AlterMarkt and along Hohenzollernring. Cheap local food, beer and restaurants by the other side of the river, opposite the old city centre, between Hohenzollernbrücke and Deutzer Brücke, good sights from there as well.
