Billed as 'Disneyland for adults', this is where boisterous bachelor parties, sun-kissed holidaymakers, high-rolling gamblers and many other walks of life mix with each other to gamble, shop, or simply soak up the atmosphere. The hotels are the attractions here, most of which are located on the city's celebrated Las Vegas Boulevard, otherwise known as The Strip. In them you can do everything from watching trapeze artists to seeing lions being fed or, most famously, you can win or lose your life savings in a second.

    What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas

    Vegas is one of those places that you have to tick off to say I've done it! It was a blur but awesome. You have to go the Grand Canyon - west point is the best! There are lots of free things to do in Vegas and you don't have to spend loads to have a good time. Fremont St. is really good for entertainment and cheap drinks. Check out all the look-a-likes and listen to the buskers - some awesome talent.

    Insider Tip:Don't go on the helicopter tour of the grand canyon unless you want to pay for an unpersonal, robotic tour that is way overpriced. Go to freemont st. and listen to the sax player inside. Go the Stratosphere Hotel and sneak into the pool in the 8th floor. No one checks if your a guest.

    It's really a motel, but since I was upgraded for free to a 4-bed room just for myself I will not complain... It's a cheap motel though, minimum amenities.

    Las Vegas is for gamblers

    LV is great if ur gambling but for other ppl prob wont b the best. a couple days is all u need here. but the gambling is also bad to do with odds.

    Insider Tip:if u r goin to gamble stay at a place thhat gives u a card that works in multiple casinos n gives u money off ur stay

    Vegas is an average place to party in, some clubs are good, but others are too exclusive and are pretty dull. also stick to the casinos for your free drinks coz in the clubs they get expensivc checking out all the casinos is a great experience aswell, during the day and night, will take a few days

    it was a crazy mix of lights, fun and seedy under belly vegas is def the town to party in if you got the money for cover charge always meetin great people and the main sights are easy to get too a car is a definite for more freedom of sight seeing other than the strip

    Insider Tip:its hot here!!! really ridiculously hot!!! bring flip flops, suncream and tank tops get a hostel/hotel wit a pool
