    Not Worth the Hype

The only reason we went to Liverpool was to tour Anfield stadium, as my boyfriend is a big LFC fan. After visiting the stadium, walking around Albert Docks and paying for the over-priced ferris wheel, we had nothing left to do really excite visit the pubs. Some of the pubs were great, however Liverpool was quite underwhelming.

Insider Tip:Visit the Cavern Club, The Dispensary and Peter Kavanaugh's for unique experiences.

    Liverpool is Cool.

Liverpool seems to offer quite a bit, I was only there for a couple of days. I spent most of my time relatively close to the train station area near Liverpool Lime Street, the Albert Dock and waterfront. I imagine there's loads more to see, but those areas were quite cool with architecture and history, plus museums and of course all the shopping you can handle, if you're into that.

Insider Tip:Near the main shopping area they set up market's daily with fresh fruits and vegetables. Great way to find a healthy snack in your travels!

    Walkable city

City of Liverpool is really nice. Me as a big football and Liverpool FC fan it is something unforgetable. It has a lot of history, great views at the river from the docks, nice museums and the city is just the right size to see it all by walking so you don't need a lot of money for transport.

Beware of booking the haunted tours during the fall/spring. It is really hard to tell when they classify a start time for spring or fall and there aren't any guidelines in their books.
