    Milan, the dull city.

Didn't like Milan's atmosphere. Kind of Racism towards Asians. You should stop saying "Ni Hao~" to every Asians. There so many other countries in Asia. Nothing to enjoy in Milan, in contrast to Florence. Duomo, and the Last supper, Brera Gallery.. was all. Gloomy city, I guess.

Milan has a number of things to see! I should have researched the part about seeing 'the last supper' painting, which needs to be booked in advance. Beautiful Duomo church, and castle Sforsesco, as well as general roaming the streets and soaking up the sun. Did not check out the nightlife though. Please beware of the scams that go about in the city, which I found to be more prevalent than Paris (personal opinion). This double edged sword has the locals with their guard up. eg directions

Insider Tip:Definitely plan to do some day trips out of the city, Lake Como is one of the most accessible from a major city such as Milan, do take the time to see this, was the highlight of my trip!

I love this city, it's quite different from the rest of italy. I think it's really underrated, probably because the rest of italy is so famous historically. Milan is a really good example of today's italy. But it is still a charming and interesting place. The Duomo is breathtaking, and there is always something interesting going on. The canal district is great. Milan has great pasteries. Tired of pasta and pizza? China town is a great place to find something different.

Insider Tip:Use the metro to get around, Milan has some of the best public transport in Italy. And according to my Italian friend that is a pastery chef, Milan is home to some of the most prestigious bakeries and pastery shops.

Had a great day doing a tour of milan and the last supper, and a night of wandering round the beautiful city.

Insider Tip:The duomo at night is gorgeous. Book last supper tickets in advance.

    Not nice.

There is very little to do at Milan besides eating. There are just a few touristic attractions, such as the duomo, and as so they are usually over crowded in a way that's not pleasant. The metro system and buses are confusing and it's hard to get information. Streets are not clean at all and all the time I felt like I was walking in a bad neighbourhood, despite staying in the city center. Markets and stores also operate on weird hours - couldn't find places open neither at 11 AM nor at 5 PM.
