Milan
Though there are not a lot of sightseeing things to do, there is plenty of shopping and nightlife to make up for it.
Insider Tip:Great place for shoppers.
Slick, sleek and uber-cool, Milan is one of the most stylish cities in the world. Lavish designer stores abound endless streets while just as lavish bags loaded with the latest 'must-have' items hang from endless shoppers' arms. Milan also has some of Italy's most breathtaking cathedrals, making it a perfect destination for sightseeing as well as shopping. Once all shopping and sightseeing is done, visitors can enjoy free snacks during 'aperitivo time' before ending the day in Navigli, Milan's coolest quarter.

Milan is not the typical italian city. If that is what you expected you'd be disappointed. Milanese people are also different. It all depends on what your expectations are. It IS a great city and it DOES HAVE a lot of historical places as many of the italian cities. But if you're looking for italy look further south. ( Toscana, Emilia Romagna )
Shopping and fashion is what Milan is famous for and it was nice to go walk down the main shopping strip. Apart from that the only other major things to see would be the "Duomo", the Castle and Leonardo Da Vinci's "Last Supper". 2 days in this city should be enough.
Insider Tip:If you want to see Leonardo Da Vinci's "last supper" make sure you book in advance otherwise you won't be allowed in! tickets sell out quickly. Climb to the top of the Duomo as well!
Not as much giong on as I thought, but there is a sweet appertivo called Yguana that I recommend or some shopping downtown. Great evening!
Milan is too city-ish and metropolitan. People are walking really fast everywhere here, seem like rushing all the time. Less smiles and friendliness, people are more stress here and doesn't seem to have time for you. It's a fast paced city life. Only good for shopping and business I guess. Not a place to go if you want a quiet retreat~
Insider Tip:Beware of the conmans handing out friendship bracelet, or shoving roses at you. They'll ask you to pay as soon as you accepts it!Keeps your hand in your pockets and avoid them!
