Stockholm Pocket Guide

Images Of Stockholm

Built on 14 distinguishable islands, Stockholm is one of the few capitals in the world that affords visitors the opportunity to go island-hopping on a short break. Each of the Swedish capital's islands has its own attribute. Gamla Stan is one of the most charming old towns in Europe, Djurgården is at the forefront of the game in terms of museums, while Södermalm is where the Swedish capital's notoriously stylish offspring party into the early hours every weekend.

Stockholm is a nice city, but expensive for the rest of Europe pockets, in winter is very windy, cold and gray :(

Generally i found sweden safe but uncomfortable

I felt out of place and stuck out like a sore thumb. Swedish ppl keep to themselves, even though they stay super nice, you know you make them uncomfy so you feel uncomfy and like youre intruding...guess they are not used to seeing a black person who eats pork, drinks alchohol and goes into a restuarant lol

    Stockholm's Snazzy

Stockholm is a beautiful city to walk around, the buildings and waterways are amazing. Had some great food there at Vapiano's, and I had moose meatballs at another restaurant - I highly recommend trying them! The museums are interesting and I loved the aquarium there!

Insider Tip:You can get into a lot of the museums for free if you say you're 18, only some ask for ID.

    The old and the new

I came to Stockholm after Oslo and the thing that surprised me more is that it has an old part of the city that is really well kept. The city is wonderful, expensive as part of Scandinavia, but worth it. IT was a bit hard for me to get my way, also the weather is not that great, but as for the rest, I recommend the city.

Is a different city, I liked the landscape, but for me everything is just expensive, if you want to go out at night you really need to have money.

Insider Tip:you need to have money, everything is twice expensive than the others country in Europe.
