The hostel was beautiful! Clean, huge spaces, individual power outlets for each bed, a great common area... However, really poor breakfast, but what killed me were some (10-ish) people in the hostel, who would be making way too much noise until 2am, and starting screaming and slamming doors at 8am! Those kind of people that have ABSOLUTELY no respect towards anyone else. I guess that the hostel attracts more younger people. Not the hostel's fault, though!
Pretty expensive! But anyway, it's Geneva! You will rarely find anything cheaper. However, the quality is of a hotel: clean, quite private, comfortable beds, very clean bathrooms and toilets. I really enjoyed my stay. It was my last stop after 3 weeks of "partying" in hostels in Madrid, Berlin, and Czech Republic, and the hostel gave me the quiet mood to rest before returning home. I wouldn't recommend walking around alone at night, especially during weekdays, around the hostel...
The hostel is very nice, good common area (bar downstairs), great kitchen, really good breakfast that keeps you going until dinner, good to start the day. Location is not good, but it's so easy to reach in public transport that it makes it kind o OK. Good rooms, huge lockers, my only insatisfaction was actually with the noisy people in my room - not the hostel's fault at all! I would definitely reccomend this hostel. Great prices (except for New Year's Eve, way too expensive!!)
Amazing atmosphere, really good instalations (bedroom is so comfortable!!! We stayed in the 4-bed female), even though is not a walking distance from the center, it takes only 10 minutes by tram. Would definitely reccommend!
The hostel is good, but quite expensive for what it offers. Beds are uncomfortable, but plenty of bathrooms. Breakfast is not so good, and too early. People hang out a lot in the common area - which is more beautiful than it's actually cozy - mainly because bedrooms are small, uncomfortable and beds make a lot of noise whenever you move a little bit...

Expensive! That's the first thing that comes to my mind... And then you compare to the rest of the hostels and hotels in Oslo... Oslo is pretty expensive! Living in Norway has made me see that, although in absolute terms it is a lot of money, it's a fair price relative to the rest of the places in Oslo. Is totally worth it, though. Very clean, facilities are very nice (kitchen, dorm...), and great breakfast. I totally recommend it. Don't expect a big party atmosphere.
Hostelscat was a pleasant surprise. We started looking for a cheap hostel to spend New Year, and ended up in a great place! The hostel is comfortable and clean (very clean!), and the high point is definitely the staff! They are all very friendly, and make you feel as comfortable as you can be. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, for either lone travelers or groups. Great space, nice kitchen, AMAZING beds and REALLY AMAZING showers!
The hostel was great! They serve paella and sangria every night, and the staff is very helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bathroom is always clean. Near the central market (which is awesome, and great for going there for breakfast or buying food for cooking lunch/dinner). The only cons, in my opinion, were the lack of breakfast (only cereal) and free storage for your luggage after check out (5 euros for 12 hours).
Perfect location, next to bars, beach, bike rentals, and more! Great staff! Although the bedrooms are quite small, they have big lockers that fit your entire luggage, even the bigger ones! Filled with power sockets in the bedrooms, one for each bed. Localização perfeita, próximo a bares, botecos, praia, bikes, Lagoa... O pessoal é bem simpático! Apesar de os quartos serem um pouco pequenos, têm lockers bem grandes, que cabem qualquer mala! Tem várias tomadas no quarto, uma para cada cama.
The guestouse was great. We got a private room (no a/c) for the same price of the dorm. The location is great, just a 5 minutes walk to the centre, and next to a fancy hostel with a swimming pool, where you can go, buy a beer and swim or just sit in the deck watching the sunset. The only bad thing was that the bathroom is quite small for showering, without separation, and sometime you would use it after someone had showered and it'd be all wet. However, nothing that will ruin your stay.
The worst hostel I've stayed so far. Very dirty, smells really bad (specially at night), doesn't have a free shuttle to ephesus or from the bus station as they say in the internet add, the staff was quite rude and didn't give us much information. Also, you have to pay more if you turn on the air conditioner - and they don't say it to everyone at the check in! Totally disappointed with this hostel.
This was a nice hostel! The staff is very friendly, they arranged me a drive to the airport, and helped me what I needed.
The hostel was great! Staff very kind, very clean, breakfast goes up to 11am - which gives you plenty of time for waking up after a night out! Although the room I stayed was in front of the avenue, and therefore kind of noisy, I had no problem at all to sleep. For light sleepers, I reccommend you ask for a room in the back!
