Located in Koreatown. Korean owners, nice and helpful. Still seems like it's starting out and isn't as polished as Japanese-owned places, but it does the trick for a night or two.

Location isn't ideal, not terrible, but I got pretty good sleep here. Plugs inside the capsules are nice. Lots of room for bags. Can do laundry in the hostel with coins. Rooftop area that I never got around to.

So this is the typical Japanese capsule hotel experience. These are intended for business people with little luggage, and a big backpack can be a pain (I ended up keeping it in my capsule). Pros: you'll be able to sleep well, you can enjoy the sauna, and get a real capsule experience. Cons: dingy, no traveler atmosphere, annoying to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs for everything, NO PLUGS IN THE CAPSULE (have to pay to charge anything). You can beat the location for Shinjuku tho!

Should provide better directions for taxi drivers trying to find the hostel. Front desk staff was a little grumpy. Otherwise decent location. Standard hostel.

Sopita really helps with travel logistics and will even take you early in the morning to the ferry! The hostel is literally right in the middle of the party. Really great crash spot if you want to be in the thick of it.
