Meltem Pansion

Kas, Turkey

This is a very friendly place quite central. The staff are extremely helpful, the rooms tidy and clean. The bathrooms are a bit on the small side. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, a huge choice of foods that changed every day. You do not need any lunch after this wonderful feed.

Aspawa Pension

Pamukkale, Turkey

Lovely small hotel with a little swimming pool, close to the town center and to the terraces (5 min walk). The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room clean and well-kept. This is extremely good value for money, I can only recommend this place.

Interlaken, Switzerland

Lovely old farmhouse in a very convenient location. The room was nice and very clean, a little basic. Great breakfast. Excellent value for maney.

City Hostel Geneva

Geneva, Switzerland

Nice clean hostel very centrally located. Friendly staff.

Hotel Welcome Inn

Zurich, Switzerland

Standard hote, close to Kloten train station. Offers shuttle to Zurich airport starting 5.00 am which is why I stayed there.

Hotel Anjou

Biarritz, France

I really liked this place in a great location, bang in the center of town. The room was nice and spacey for the price, breakfast good. It was clean and well-presented.

L'Etoile Bleue

Bordeaux, France

Nice place, very close to the airport. About 20 minutes from Bordeaux, so it depends what you prefer. Nice swimming pool which was good as a refreshment after a long day out. Very friendly staff, average motel-style rooms.

Dar El Yasmine

Fez, Morocco

We did not actually stay in Dar El Yasmine, but in their other place. The staff were nice, although the pickup from the bus station they had promised never happened. The place itself was okay, the location handy. However, the rooms were really dirty. The toilet had not been cleaned, the sheets were not clean, the blankets and pillows really smelly. This was definitely the dirtiest place we stayed in in Morrocco.

Owner Comment (Hide)
hello everybody We sometimes have a small problem some guest the love the place so much or they get sick .we usually give the choice to the new guest to stay in our second place or to move the old guest (we usually inform them that may they can't stay and that's depend in the the decission of the new guest ) . for the new guest even if they stay in the new place they have the opportunity to visit dar el yasmine ,meet other travellers ,drink a tea .if they have booking for more than one night they can stay the rest of the nights in dar el yasmine . About the pick up we usually pick up the guest they confirm the pick up .others they just ask if we can meet them in the station,(they didn't Book a pick up) but sometimes the bus or train came late . Sorry again ,we always do our best to offer you a pleasant stay in dar el yasmine

Casa Annasr

Chefchaouen, Morocco

This is an excellent hotel right next to the bus station. It means a 15 minute walk to the town but for us it was ideal since we arrived late and only had to walk a short distance, spend the night, leave the luggage, then come back the next day, pick up our luggage and leave. It is clean, the owner is lovely, we got free tea and a really good breakfast. Since it was not busy, we were also given a suite instead of a normal room at no extra cost. Can really recommend this place.

Hotel Central

Casablanca, Morocco

I really liked this place. It is an old colonial hotel and still has some of this charme. It was clean enough, not sparkling, but fine. Nice hot water, good breakfast and really lovely stuff. It is located just outside the medina overlooking a small square, which is nice but a little noisy at night.

Hotel MarMar

Ouarzazate, Morocco

Something went wrong with the reservation, there was no room. However, the receptionist organised a room in a nearby hotel for us, so the review is more for this hotel. Nothing very special about eihter of them other than the staff was really really lovely.

Nice central hostel. A pity the window of my room went to the courtyard, so there was a bad echo effect from the people talking outside.

Hostel Dolce Vita

Granada, Spain

Really beautiful hostel in a quiet but central location. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are amazing with really good tips for what to do and where to go in Granada. Particularly liked their recommendation for "Babel", a great wee restaurant.

Casa Caracol

Cadiz, Spain

Very relaxed, studenty kind of place. Enjoyed my stay, but it is more for really young party-type people.

Traveler's Inn Seville

Seville, Spain

Very nice hostal in a central location. The staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Loved the roof terrace.
