Cheers Hostel

Istanbul, Turkey

Stayed in a private room for three nights and it was one of the best private rooms in any hostel I've stayed in around the world. Very friendly staff and the location is excellent! 5 minutes walk to the Aya Sophia or Blue Mosque, and right near the tram station. Tons of restaurants nearby, but they're all a little on the expensive/toursity side.

Great experience to stay out in the desert while visiting Petra. The only draw back is the camp requires a lift in and out of town or to and from Petra, otherwise the staff is excellent and will help you out with ANYTHING you need. Sami was extremely helpful - if you have enough time, make sure and take him up on the long hike on the back way into Petra. Definitely worth it! Cool atmosphere in the common tent to chill at the end of the day and relax with some tea and smoke hooka.
