Really close to everything you want to see, and the staff was really nice and accommodating. No air condition (at least not in our room) so it was really hot but you can expect that in Rome in August. Windows let in a little breeze though so not too bad. Complementary coffee and pastry each morning at the bar across the street and in a good part of town.
Not my favorite hostel, good for a night or two.
Nice hostel, the rooms had a lot of space which is nice when you have eight people in one room together. The staff was really nice too. But you do have to buy sheets there if you did not bring your own.
