Sakura Hostel Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan

The hostel was really lively and full of energy. Hotel staff was really nice and helpful, and all of them spoke English. The hostel is close to a nice area and to 2 metro stations, not far from the city center, but on the other hand not close to any JR line station (so not good for JR pass holders). It was overall clean, maybe sometimes the showers were not in perfect conditions (still nothing to be worried about). Overall, I would recommend this hostel.

The place was really nice and well located. The room was pretty small and unfurnished, but still had what we needed. Decently located half way between the train station and an area full of restaurants and bar in central Kyoto
