Brilliant. Was meant to have 5 nights here to unwind before cold hard reality back in london, but i ended up opting out of a night in bilboa to stay a night extra (even though it made for a nightmare hungover journey to make bilboa airport the following day!) Leo is fantastic at showing you were to get the best food and, more importantly, drink. We had an entourage from the hostel of 20 at least every night, so even if it was quiet out we still had a heap of fun. Cracking Hostel.

Hostel One Paralelo

I chose this hostel as it had the highest rating. expectations were exceeded. Met PJ initially and felt immdeiately at home. He had extensive knowledge of cultural/social activities and went out of his way to help you out. Dinners were great and an opportune time to rally the troops and fire your hostel mates up to get them out for a bender. Finally, Juan, the night watch man, adopts a very much 'as long as your quiet anything goes' attitude which brings the awesomeness of this place full circle

Split Guesthouse & Hostel

What can I say... I´ve stayed in 10´s of hostels in all parts of the world (more than 30) and THIS guy knows how to run a hostel. You´ve got the freedom (and encouragement) to really have a good time here. Loose behaviour is encouraged not just allowed, as long as u don´t be a bad bloke and annoy the others in ur room, pretty much anything goes. Great banter around the dinner table and he even makes cocktails for the group. (my other review the same as this for another hostel was accidental)
