Fairly good location - 5 mins walk from Russell Square. The guy on reception was nice when i checked in and so was another female on reception, but the staff cleaning the rooms were not friendly at all. They simply walked in and stared at us - no greeting or anything. Dont expect too much from the rooms - bare, basic furniture. Ok if you are just using it to crash at night. The lounge/common room was good except about four members of staff (or their friends) came in and filled it up.

GREAT hostel. Great location, great vibe. Has its own bar thats open late. Has all the facilities you need (laundry, travel shop etc). Rooms are nice and fairly newly furbished by the looks. Definately would recommend.

Is in very good location if you wish to party (i.e. right on beach). However u will get outside noise (music) coming in until late at night. The beds are large and comfortable. The bathrooms were adequate but needed cleaning far more regularly. Signs need to be installed telling people not to flush toilet paper down as the toilet got blocked several times and was not cleaned until next day! Pool is nice. There is little area to socialise inside but there is a resturant and bar just outside.

Hostel was dirty - sand absolutely everywhere. They had obviously not cleaned under/around the beds in a while as i found old underwear, shorts etc. There were stains on the sheets (and we had to make our own bed!). There is no common area for socialising/meeting people. Its literally a place to sleep and thats it. No additional services such as laundry etc.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Customers bring sand in, especially the ones who ignore our request to remove their shoes before coming into the hostel. Our cleaners only clean what they are sure is rubbish and not peoples belongings. Yes you do have to put a bed sheet on your bed, the system we use is quite common in hostels. There is a swimming pool and bar/restaurant area for socialising/meeting people 10m from the hostel. I take it you didn't ask about any additional facilities such as laundry at reception then?
