The staff were welcoming, but you get what you pay for. The hostel was quite far away from the main attractions, and they don't offer bicycle hire, but was close to a convenience store which was a plus. The common areas were good, but not very big, and not much socialising was going on. We made use of the games and library in the tv room. Would benefit from key card style security rather than key access as the door was left open by others in our dorm. The pillow was like a rock.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at K's House. The shower rooms were great, with an area to keep your clothes dry, bathmats, and shampoo, conditioner and bath gel provided. The laundry room was handy (free detergent), bike rental, comfortable room. The Wi-Fi was temperamental, and there were a few families staying on the same floor as us with crying babies, which wasn't a problem, just wasn't expected! The breakfast was decent (you can do better elsewhere), however the mango slushies are divine!

I had a fantastic stay at the Mitraa. The staff were wonderful, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived, they had great knowledge of the city, and were very quick replying to emails. The bed was comfortable, the room nicely air-conditioned, and lockers were provided in the room with a lock. Breakfast was basic but welcomed, the common area was a good place to meet people, and the wi-fi was strong. Great location, with a supermarket next door. Highly recommended.

The hostel was okay. There were no lockers in the bedrooms - only a limited number downstairs by reception. The bathroom were across the hall for girls, and down the stairs for the guys - not ideal. The showers were dirty and like a swimming pool change room - frosted glass shower screens for privacy. Breakfast was decent. Unlimited toast was handy after a big night. Security was lax. Good location. Beds pretty rickety. Fine if you just need somewhere to crash, but expected a lot more.

The hostel was really good overall. Great location, lovely common areas and communal kitchen. Fantastic value for money. Friendly receptionist. However we booked a double room, and the room had two single beds which wasn't ideal for my partner and I. This should be clarified in the room description.
