Maria is fantastic and makes everyone feel welcome. Only hiccup was wifi was not working but that seems very common in alot of Thai hostels in the south.

Good place for Full Moon and Taco, manager was very kind. It is a shame there is not a better socialising area, only the tables and chairs out front.

Hi , there is a huge lounge upstairs in the out back bar and another guest lounge , the staff did not show you these rooms? I will make sure that does not happen again .

NapPark Hostel at Khao San

Nice clean hostel, but expensive compared to others around. There was a place across the road that was virtually empty. I picked NapPark because it had good reviews, but my taxi driver couldn't find it, despite me haivng the address in Thai, and also in English. In the end I pointed to Kao San Rd and he dropped me off there, so I had to ask around. The tGuy who worked at NapPark was great, but the girls did not smile or seem friendly.

Nice hostel, bit too far from waterfront. My bunk bed squeaked and creaked all night, so this was frustrating for all in dorm. No freezer anywhere in hostel so frozen stuff I bought could not be kept. Was not impressed on having to pay $2 surcharge for a one night stay after I had been away for 2 nights on a tour after staying for 3 nights previously.

It was an ok hostel, but their sister hostel Peking Yard is much nicer, with better communal areas.

Loved the location , but had a few easily sorted issues. The room I stayed in first on the 4th floor had a very loud squeaky door that could be oiled and quiet with one squirt of WD40. I was kept awake all night from the squeak of it as were all the other 9 people in the room. A friend had her bag stolen from the storage, which was frustrating. Why not have staff give out returnable cards in exchange for bags, as it would not cost anything to the hostel. Despite these small issues, loved it.

Great location n facilities but expensive. For not much more u can stay at Anny Hostel in Perissa -11 euros a night and the difference will pay for your quad bike hire.

Paraga Beach Hostel

Mykonos, Greece

WARNING. DO not stay here! Staff are rude, unreasonable. facilities are terrible (bathrooms are smelly, busy, broken doors, no toilet paper) dorms have no security, no lockers, there's holes in the green mesh walls to unlock the doors and u only get a bottom sheet. Many people who stayed there checked out early. Carlos, the security guard acts like the owner and should be sacked/fired as he offended everyone n lost passports which they kept without warning. Go to Paradise Beach camping nearby.

Great location and staff but expensive without quality due to Fringe Festival. Staff should make each person staying there have one keycard each. I was in a mixed room with 4 guys sharing one keycard so was woken at 2 am, then 2.30am then 3 am to the sound of loud urgent knocking and calling out then rummaging in noisy lockers then people coming and going. Also, top bunks had no ladders. Bad hostel karma to these dudes and preventable if made to have individual keys. It's a refundable deposit!

Hi There, Thank-you for your feedback. Im really sorry for the disruption caused by the other guests in your dormitory. It is hostel policy that every single guest is given a key for their room. I have spoken to the group that woke you up and will make sure this does not happen again. Enjoy the rest of your travels Kind Regards Edinburgh Backpackers Management

This place felt like home where the staff treated me like a family member, always willing to chat, give local advise, and go above what you normally get at hostels. Loved it and would definitely recomment it.
