Pariwana is one of my top hostels ... anything you need can pretty much be found here, even things you didn't know you needed (like electric outlets inside your locker). Always something going on, very cool people, and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
Very chill place, had a great time here. The BBQ was awesome and everyone was very friendly. Could have used more lockers/locks but really you are in a pretty tranquil and secure place. Staff was helpful setting up excursions.
One of the best hostels I have stayed in - they have pretty much thought of everything here. Great social atmosphere, amenities and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
Lovely little place, very easy to walk to everything, and nice people to hang out with. Enjoyed the chill atmosphere.
Had a good stay here and the staff were very nice. Location isn't bad if you are looking to go clubbing, etc. Could have been a bit more social, but they do a good job having a bar in house and a little cafe adjoining.
Nice hostel with a good location in town. Seemed very social and I would have liked to stay longer.
Definitely a must-stay, a great social scene with lots to do, helpful staff, and great location to get into the medina. I wish I could have stayed here longer. Definitely eat at the hostel at some point, as their meals are outstanding. Had some great times hanging out on the roof and meeting all the other travelers. Would love to come back.
Good location right on the beach and the staff are great - helped me plan my entire trip over email before I even arrived. Good, friendly scene, and they are even upgrading the place by remodeling the second floor.
One of the coolest hostels I have ever stayed at. Keep in mind you are out in the middle of nowhere but that's kind of the point. The staff helped me plan my entire visit before I even arrived, and had someone meet me at the bus stop. The other guests were very friendly and we had some great excursions as the countryside is beautiful. This is a must-see place, even if only for one night.
The rooms were pretty spartan but the downstairs cafe was really neat and open. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it's reasonably close to some cool things, though the directions could use a little update. Everything was very clean and I had an overall good experience, would stay again.
I had a great time here due to the social setting and large common rooms where it was easy to meet people. The staff were also very friendly and the rooms were nice. It was a little far from the more exciting parts of the city, but you can rent bikes or just walk and it wasn't too much trouble. Overall definitely would stay again.
Nice clean place. Convenient walk to everything. The staff were excellent and definitely went above and beyond to be helpful. The place definitely has a hipster vibe. No real complaints; not all of the other guests seemed super social but that's about it.
Not a bad place. Didn't seem overly social and was a little out of the way, but the place was clean and the staff were friendly.
I had a great experience here. Keep in mind that this is Cairo and the standards are a bit different. The city doesn't have the safest feel and the hostel is in the middle of downtown. However, once you are in the hostel, it's pretty easy to meet people and relax. The staff were great, very helpful. I recommend following their advice on the area - this may not be the place to lone wolf it. Use the hostel driver if possible, though you may have to be firm on where you do and don't want to go.
The staff here were incredible - very helpful, remembered my name the whole time, wow. The location is very good, close to all the tourist sites in the old city and close to public transit. It was a little difficult to find but not a big deal. Great rooftop scene and very easy to meet people and make friends. Would definitely stay here again.
Great hostel! There is a very good social scene here with a big common room and bar. The staff were very helpful and there are plenty of day trip options (I did the Masada Sunrise which was amazing). Great place to make friends and explore the area.
The best thing going for this place is the location - one block from the beach. If you are looking to spend most of your time on the beach, and maybe walk to the bazaar, this is the place for you. As for the negatives - this is not a very social hostel so if you are looking to meet people, you might want to look for other options. It has more of a budget hotel feel. Also, the Wifi wasn't working properly in the lobby and there's no signal in the rooms.
I also stayed at the Studios which were great rooms, very impressed at the quality.
This place is definitely one of my top hostels. The location is perfect for sightseeing and the rooftop bar is great for meeting people and making friends. It's very easy to get to using public transit and there are plenty of day trip options. The staff were very helpful with any questions I had. The only negative might have been there were one or two old dudes hitting on some of the girls. Other than that it was a blast and I will definitely come back.
The staff were very cool and friendly. Had a good time hanging out with everyone. Very close to the metro and things to do. Only recommendation would be to invest in some new bedding - sheets were kind of gross.

Nice little place. The lady at the desk was very helpful and had good recommendations. The location is a little bit off the path but not too bad.
Not bad but not great. Staff were very helpful. Paying for internet was pretty ridiculous. Also, need to do something about the mold smell in the bathroom.
Great little hostel in a nice little town. Walking distance to everything, friendly staff.
Nice place to stay, very convenient for the touristy bar areas. Also close to transportation. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only negative: common room closed at night meant that people had to sit in the hallway to use the internet.
Fun place to stay. Staff were extremely helpful and the atmosphere was great. Cheap beers at the bar and reliable internet.
