It was a room in someones home and the owner was lovely, didnt speak a lot of english but very friendly and helpful. It was very clean and secure however it was a bit hard to find and its up a hill from Dubrovnik old town, which I think a lot of Dubrovnik accommodation would suffer from.

Very social and communal hostel. Very clean, safe and good breakfast. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. The hostel bar was also very good for socialising and the hostel's location was good.

Very good location and very friendly and helpful staff, would definitely recommend the hostel. Had a strange shower arrangement though as was more a shower head over the sink in a toilet but that wouldn't stop me from staying here. Good breakfast in the morning too.

From the outside the building looks very shabby and inside feels a bit like a school, however it is clean and has a very good location. We were in a six bed room which was very big so gave us all a lot of space. Would go here again as was cheap and exellent location to the Old Town, though if you're looking for something relaly nice this isn't it.

Very friendly hostel, was given a free beer on arrival which was a very welcome suprise. Very lively atmosphere, good for younger travellers. Bar area was a very good place to meet other travellers, so if travelling on your own it would be a good way to meet others. A couple of down sides were the beds were not hugely comfortable and the female bathroom was downstairs if you were on the upper floor.

Loved the idea of the 'pod' beds in the dorm room, was good to be able to have the privacy but still have the social environment. We went in the winter and so the temperature of the hostel was pretty cold (though it was -25oC outside). Facilities were basic but clean, staff not very friendly but still ok.

Location, friendly owner, nice breakfast, wi-fi, big bed - good points. However my room (4) accessed by dangerously steep and narrow staircase.WC on same level as bed, but shower/washbasin are on mezzanine accessed up another steep, dangerous ladder with no banister.Dusty floor of compressed straw, no wardrobe just a hanging rail, depressing picture of weeping urchin contribute to an overall gloomy atmosphere.Lacks TV/radio, bedside table/light, glasses.Tea tray-no milk only 1 coffee.Poor detail.
