Dont go there. its a cheat!!! sleepy and untidy girls at reception said that its other hostel (old city) and they do not know anything about fredericks. important- it looks directly as on photographs here, so i assume its pure lie and they use double names. also they said that they dont have the rooms on prices i booked and suggested to go other hostel (that felt illigal as was not mentioned in any hostel booking sistem at st.pet) and located miles away.reccomend to exclude this hostel from site
Good hostel. clean, safe and valued for money. i choose it bec location - few steps for victoria station and coach station- very handy if you plan to travel furver. i liked the cages under bed - wonderfull option for baggage security. i would reccoment to hostel to invest into washing mashine for dishes - other way it took so much time for everyone to wash own dishes after breakfast in just 2 sinks.
Palmers Lodge was nice, but my room was in basement - i did not expect that! One tiny window. it was a bit noisy from kitchen early in the morning and some loud voises from bar at evening. The breakfast is basic, very poor for my mind . I liked the big range of souvenirs to buy.
It's a best hostel i've ever been! tasty breakfast, wonderful gregorian buiding, clean and safe.Staff are friendly. comfy big bunkbeds.location is exellent - close to center and the same time 5 minutes walk to central bus station, an important thing for those who want to continue travelling. if i will be in Dublin again i will stay in Globetrotters!
it was very nice place to stay in. Staff are friendly and well qualified. i enjoed being there.
