Great location 5 mins walk from Praia Dona Ana and 10 mins into the old town. Wouldn't recommend for single travellers as it's very quiet, but for a group of 4 it was fine. Pool is nice and clean too!

Big, clean hostel an easy 10 mins walk from the beach and 2 mins walk from the Metro. It's about a half hour journey into the heart of Barcelona. Not much atmosphere at night, but if you're on a budget in the city then I would recommend it. Being close to the beach helps as well :)

A little shabby but overall pretty clean with a great location on the main pedestrain street. We stayed in apartment across the road from the main hostel so can't comment too much on the atmosphere in the evening, it was pretty quiet during breakfast though.

Awesome hostel close to the ruin pubs of the Jewish Quarter. Alex was great, taking time to explain the sights of Budapest to us, really helpful! Unfortunately there was a school music camp staying whilst we were, so not so many other travellers, but has a large bar area, definitely has potential to meet people and be really social. Would 100% stay again! Thanks Alex!

Information on Hostelworld needs to be updated - there is no yoga, not that this mattered to us. If you need to be close to the train station, this is bearable for one night, not hot water the entire time we were there though... Not a nice area of Budapest, drunks everywhere. We enjoyed the city much more once we changed hostels

10th Jul 2016

Handy location if you need to be near the main train/bus station, and clean enough though there was a strong drain smell in one bathroom. No other guests around, so not much atmosphere. Our main problem with this place was they didn't give us the tourist white card apparently you need to get within 24 hours of arriving within Serbia, so on our way out of the country we got in trouble with police and were told we had to pay a 400 euro fine each! It all turned out fine, but wouldn't recommend it

Clean and tidy, in a good central location right near a whole bunch of pubs and bars. Probably don't stay here over the weekend if you can't deal with a bit of nightlife noise though... Only complaint would be there wasn't someone always at the desk, there were a few questions we had and we could never find anyone to ask... When there was staff around though, they were very freindly and helpful.

Hostel Miran has been the most accommodating and hospitable place we have stayed on our trip so far! We arrived very early in the morning off an overnight bus and Miran himself was u and ready to greet us, he gave us beds even though we weren't technically checking in until later that day and also gave us breakfast too. Miran's tour is the best one we've done, there is clearly so much passion behind it - thank you Miran and Esmer! Special shoutout to Mateusz for the awesome breakfast and coffee

Hostel Natura Cancún, Cancun, Mexico

14th Jan 2015

My second time staying here - perfect for what I needed - a quiet night before flying out the next day. Just bring some earplugs though, as there is a noisy bar downstairs. Not many people staying when I visited, but for my purposes that was fine. It's super clean, with a sunny rooftop terrace and nice restaurant downstairs where you get a 15% discount. Public beach access is just metres up the road, as any backpacker who has been to Cancun before, this can be hard to find!

View Property Reply

Hi Ellie, thank you for staying again at natura. we try to improve day by day and yes right now guest can ask for earplugs for free thanks to your comment. we already talked to the bar manager to reduce the music at night. so its even better now. hopefully we can host you again

Pretty basic hostel close to the beach and ruins (about a 10 min walk). Fine if you're using a bike, if you were on foot only the walk would be long enough to be annoying. Awesome, awesome breakfast (crepes first day, delecious omelette second day!), hostel facilities nothing fancy but do-able. Use mosquito repellant at dusk!

Awesome hostel to stay at during BPM Festival, great party atmosphere, though stay away if you don't like Australians ;-) I'd say it was 95% Aussies staying there the whole time haha! Nice rooftop bar with free ladies drinks from 10 - 11 each night. Never saw anyone in the ppol though? And it's noisy at night, but you're not there to sleep! Staff are great, Andrea is very friendly and welcoming! See you next year for another BPM! :-)

Amazing pool!!! Made staying here totally worth it! The 50-something bed dorm was a bit much at times - especially if you are sleeping next to the stairs or bathrooms (like us), but it was bearable overall. Nice breakfast selection and a good overall location, only 2 blocks from the beach. Would stay here again.

Hotel Max in Mokum, Amsterdam, Netherlands
8.6
18th Jun 2014

Hotel Max is good value for money, considering how expensive dorm beds in Amsterdam can be. However, breakfast IS NOT included in the price as it states on their profile (unless you read the fine print - this is very misleading!) and it is also worth mentioning, you have to go to their sister hotel Iris to check in. It's only a short walk away, but with lots of luggage this was a very painful process - they should put it in their directions to go straight there.

One of the cheaper options in Rotterdam, but still great quality! Friendly and helpful staff, good free breakfast, the only thing I would say is the vibe is a bit weird sometimes in the common/bar area, felt a bit like a lot of long-stayers hanging around. But still, I would revisit and highly recommend! :)

A new hostel in the centre of the Hotel Zone, super close to the beach and nightclub area. It's a new, I wish it had been open when I visited earlier in the year! Spotless bathrooms, it's lacking in a common area at the moment but the upstairs rooftop area is set to open up in the future, when it does it will be perfect! Will definitely be staying here again if I pass through Cancun next year!

A beautiful hostel style hotel, the courtyard with swimming pool and social area is like a little oasis! Everything is new and well maintained, rooms were spotless and cleaned every day. The staff including the owners and receptionist Sonja are all very friendly and helpful, Sonja gave us a great run down of Tulum on a map you can keep when we arrived to get us started. Mango is a little on the pricier side, but the quality more than makes up for the few extra dollars you spend.

Has a nice rooftop area with volcano views, however our stay was ruined when our dorm room and locker was broken into and our valuables stolen! Extra security measures should be implemented, e.g. visitors to the hostel bar should be made to sign in/out, etc. At the time of the robbery, staff could definitely have been more helpful and caring, no one was particularly interested in or apologetic for our situation. However, the owner did email me later and refund our stay and offer his assistance.

An okay place to stay, it's not right in the heart of everything in South Beach but it's not too far away either, an easy walk. I was annoyed as when we arrived, we found the price had gone up since our initial booking due to 'new owners'? I believe they should have honoured the original booking price, however it did then include breakfast (bagel), lunch (roll) and dinner (chicken and mashed potato) both nights. Rooms were clean enough.

I would recommend this place to someone just because of him! He is currently doing renovations tso the place is a bit messy in some parts, and we think we may have been bitten by fleas in the lounge room, but it didn't really matter as Howard totally made up for that!

im not normally the type to complain about hostels when they are so cheap, but seriously, this place was pretty***! there were fleas in our beds, pretty sure the sheets were unwashed and the guy who checked us in forgot to give us our security swipe cards so we were locked outside once for half an hour!
