Flisvos Hotel

At the end if the day this place is somewhere to sleep. But not much more than that. It's super close to the port so getting to and from the boat is a breeze, and getting up into town and to the main beach is pretty easy too. The room is very basic but does the job, ground floor room meant that the only way to get any ventilation was to open the doors which wasn't really possible when we left security wise...

Nice little place right in the middle of town, that did the job of providing a place to crash. Nice, clean and comfy, can't really go wrong. Only trouble was the only staff to ask questions of were staff of the adjoining restaurant next door, and you had to try and ask them about busses and this whilst they were serving resteraunt customers.

Really great little place with really cool staff that is super cose to the bus station so very handy if you're stumbling off a late night bus or eating off early. It's a bit of a way out of town but fortunately the whole town isn't that big so not too problematic.

Nice big friendly place in the middle of town, with super helpful staff. For a little extra the pasta dinner and beer and breakfast spread was great value, only problem was that preparing these two meals tended to monopolise the small kitchen so self catering is a bit difficult.

This was a great comfy place that was nice and clean with lots of helpful info. The only problem was that it was a bit of a way out of town, usually took me about 20 mins to walk to centre. Not too much trouble but always have to factor that into any plans...

This place was a little out of the centre of Florence, but the 5 minute walk that it took to get back keeps it out of the madness of the centre. Super clean and nice, but very quiet if you're travelling solo.

Whilst there's nothing in particular wrong with this place, at the end of the day it was just overall a bit disappointing. The wifi was temperamental and only worked in the "common room" which was just a big empty room with a few beds along one side. The whole thing just seemed a bit unofficial and a shambles.

Big clean comfy place that's a bit out of town so a bit of a (really nice) walk or a few stops on the underground. On the upside it's right next to the station so good for a quick getaway or a late arrival in town. Very accomodating and friendly staff, especially after I had checked out but was waiting for a late night train.

Whilst this place was a great place to stay, at the end of the day it was just some dorm rooms on top of a bar. The distinct lack of facilities and no real common area other than in the bar made staying a bit awkward. No kitchen or cooking facilities and very basic kettle setup downstairs in the basement. Other than that, really cool little place with lovely decorations in a good spot.

A cheap place not to far out of London that's a really great place to either explore London or relax a bit and talk with some of the long term visitors staying here. Otherwise great place to base yourself in London.

I arrived late at night on my only night at this hostel, and there was no one around yet I was able to walk into the building as the front door was unlocked. As I was unable to contact anyone about where I was meant to stay, I found a dorm room that was also unlocked and just went in and stayed the night in that room. When I went to leave the next morning there was again no one at reception, it was like a ghost hostel or something. Very weird, didn't see anyone else at any point that I was there

All in all, this place did the job of proving a place to crash at the end of the day, but that seemed to be about it. Perhaps it was just the time that I happened to be there but it was very quiet and people just kept to themselves. Great spot though, just next door to the park and the staff were really nice, big thanks especially to Jack who was super helpful in a time of great need.

This place has such a great feel and atmosphere that it made beautiful Porto seem all the more inviting. The common room and the staff were both so chill and comfortable, I immediately felt at home. If you're lookin for something a bit quieter and out of the main city centre this is a good option. It's nice and quiet and close to a picnic worthy park and of course the most excellent pastries, but it is a good 10-15 minutes from the centre of town so you've always got to factor that into your planning. The other downside was the very small bathroom with only 2 toilets and showers to serve all females staying and got very crowded, and there never seemed to be toilet paper in the toilets.

Most amazing roomy shower in all of Morocco. Oh so impressed. A really nice, well run place and I can't think of much more you'd want in a hostel. The communal shower left a little to be desired, but on the whole place was nice and clean with a great couch area where I met great people. I think the easiest way to get there is to walk down the main tourist street entering at Hadrians's Gate and just keep going till you find it. It's perhaps a bit longer than getting off the bus a few stops later but is certainly easier to find than wending your way through back streets of the old quarter.
